What is dirty soda?
Dirty soda is a customizable non-alcoholic drink built on a base soda — such as cream soda, Sprite, or Dr Pepper — and mixed with flavored syrups, creams, and toppings like coconut cream, vanilla sweet cream, flavored syrups, and sea salt. Each drink is made to order, which means every guest gets something tailored to their taste. The result is a craft beverage experience that feels special without a drop of alcohol.
Are your drinks alcoholic?
No. Every beverage served by The Brass Soda Cart is 100% non-alcoholic. We do not hold, serve, or supply alcohol of any kind. This makes us a great fit for all-inclusive events where you want every guest — regardless of age, preference, or dietary practice — to have something exceptional to drink.
Where is The Brass Soda Cart based?
We are based outside Dayton, Ohio and serve events across the Dayton metro, Columbus, and Cincinnati. Travel fees apply for events more than 30 miles from Dayton — a flat $50 fee within 30 miles, and $1 per mile beyond that. Columbus events typically carry a $90 travel fee.
Are you insured?
Yes. The Brass Soda Cart carries general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available upon request — many corporate venues and wedding venues require this, and we are happy to provide it.

What packages do you offer?
We offer three packages: Classic (2 drink options, 2 flavors each — ideal for smaller or simpler events), Signature (our most popular package, full menu with 5 drink options), and Premier (full menu plus custom-named signature drinks and a printed event menu — perfect for weddings and premium corporate events). All packages include 2 hours of service as the base.
How much does The Brass Soda Cart cost?
Pricing is per person and scales with your guest count. For events up to 100 guests, Classic starts at $5 per person, Signature at $7 per person, and Premier at $9 per person. Per-person rates decrease for larger groups. Additional hours are available at a per-person rate beyond the 2-hour base. Our minimum booking is $600.
What is included in every package?
Every package includes professional cart setup, a dedicated service staff member, all ingredients and supplies, cups, straws, napkins, liability insurance, and full setup and teardown. You do not need to provide anything — we arrive with everything required to serve your guests.
What add-ons are available?
Available add-ons include a nugget ice upgrade ($75), custom branded or personalized cups ($0.40 per cup), a personalized printed drink menu for your event, and extended service hours beyond the base 2-hour package (priced per person per hour based on your package and guest count).
Can I get custom drink names for my event?
Yes — custom drink names are included in our Premier package. You can name each signature drink after anything meaningful to your event: wedding party members, company values, inside jokes, or your event theme. For Premier package events, custom drink names and any printed menus must be finalized at least 21 days before your event.
Do you have a minimum booking amount?
Yes. Our minimum booking is $600 regardless of guest count. This covers our time, travel, setup, ingredient purchasing, and staffing for events on the smaller end.
Booking & Payment
How do I book The Brass Soda Cart?
Fill out our booking inquiry form on this website with your event date, location, guest count, and package interest. We will respond within 1 business day with availability and a custom quote. Once you are ready to confirm, we will send a service contract — your date is reserved upon signing and receipt of full payment.
When is payment due?
Payment is due in full at the time of booking. Your event date is not reserved until payment is received. We accept check, ACH bank transfer, credit card (a 3% processing fee applies), Zelle, and Venmo.
What is your cancellation policy?
All payments are non-refundable once booking is confirmed. Because we collect payment in full at booking, the full amount is forfeited upon cancellation regardless of notice given. One complimentary date change is available if requested 14 or more days before the original event date, subject to availability. We strongly recommend event insurance that includes vendor cancellation coverage for weddings and large corporate events.
How far in advance should I book?
For corporate events, we recommend booking 4 to 8 weeks in advance. For weddings, 3 to 6 months is ideal — our calendar fills quickly between May and October, which is peak wedding and outdoor event season in Ohio. If your event is coming up soon, reach out anyway — we will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when availability allows.
Logistics & Setup
What space does the cart require?
The Brass Soda Cart requires a cleared area of at least 8 feet wide by 6 feet deep, a standard electrical outlet within 25 feet, and a flat, stable surface. Most event venues and corporate spaces accommodate this easily. If you have any space constraints at your venue, let us know when you inquire and we will confirm compatibility.
What time do you arrive to set up?
We arrive 45 to 60 minutes before your contracted service start time to set up the cart. Teardown is completed within 45 minutes of service end. Guests should not access the cart area during setup.
Do you work with event venues directly?
Yes. We are happy to coordinate directly with your venue coordinator on load-in timing, setup requirements, and any venue-specific logistics. Just include your venue coordinator's contact information when you book and we will handle the communication.
Can you serve outdoor events?
Yes. For outdoor events, we ask that you arrange a tent or covered area in case of rain or direct sun — both affect the cart and the quality of the drinks. We reserve the right to suspend outdoor service during lightning or severe weather. Ohio weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend having a contingency plan for outdoor events, particularly during spring and fall.
Do you travel outside of Dayton?
Yes. We regularly serve events in Columbus and Cincinnati, as well as surrounding communities including Beavercreek, Kettering, Centerville, Springfield, Troy, Dublin, Westerville, Mason, Blue Ash, and Northern Kentucky. A travel fee applies for events more than 30 miles from Dayton.

Yes. The Brass Soda Cart is a popular addition to wedding receptions, cocktail hours, rehearsal dinners, and bridal showers. Our Premier package allows you to create fully custom-named signature drinks and a printed menu tailored to your wedding theme — a detail your guests will photograph and talk about long after the day.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?
A full ingredient list for every item on our menu is available upon written request. Clients are responsible for communicating guest allergy concerns to us no later than 7 days before the event. We take food safety seriously and will do our best to accommodate known restrictions, but we are not a certified allergen-free facility. Guests with severe allergies should review our ingredient list before consuming any beverages.
Do you do private parties and smaller events?
Yes. We serve birthday parties, graduation celebrations, engagement parties, baby showers, retirement parties, neighborhood events, and any private celebration where great drinks make the difference. Our minimum booking is $600, which typically covers groups of 75 to 100 guests on our Classic package.
